At Bad Bishop Club, we make clothing for the everyday chess player — the ones still figuring out openings, blundering pieces mid-game, and coming back for another match anyway.

We're not chasing grandmaster titles or a 2000+ rating. We're here for the players who love the game because of the mess, not despite it. The missed tactics, the "why did I do that" moments, the slow climb up the rating ladder that never quite feels fast enough — that's the actual experience, and we think it's worth celebrating.

That's where the name comes from. A "bad bishop" is a piece boxed in by its own pawns — not broken, just stuck in a rough spot. Sound familiar? We think most of us have been the bad bishop at some point. We're not here to hide that. We're here to embrace it.

Our clothing is made to be as easy to live in as chess is easy to fall in love with — soft, durable, no-fuss. Because the shirt should be the simple part. The rest is just you, the board, and whatever's about to go wrong (or right) on move 12.
